Wordful Wednesday

Here is my pic (s) for this Wordful Wednesday...

Meet my son Jayce....he has a drinking problem ;) Not only is he always thirsty, but this is the way he drinks out of bottles. He does this still to this day....he's 6 now. But, I find it cute so I don't correct him on the way that may possibly be better for him to drink out of the bottle...I'm just sure to not drink out of his bottles after him...I just picture what trickles back in to the bottle. Cans...no problem, bottles...mmm mm, not gonna do it.

Wordful Wednesday

This me with my brother...

He made me cry the other day. Yesterday to be exact. No, he wasn't being mean or anything. I happened to hop on to facebook, and he had posted on there about his dad. Long story short, we didn't have the greatest childhood. We have the same mom, but different dad's. We originally we with our mom and my dad up until they got into big problems with drugs and all. As much as they have done to hurt themselves and us, we still can't help but have a love for them, even if at times it may be hard to like them. But anyhurt, Brian didn't really have much of a relationship with his father, and I still don't know the extent of it all.

A couple of days ago my brother posted on facebook that he got into contact with his dad, and that he didn't know what to think of it since it only lasted for a minute. They are getting together this Saturday, and Brian is unsure of how things will go. He also got into contact with his brother and sister from his dad. Well, on the post Brian mentioned how when his dad took him in when he was younger, he didn't treat Brian very well and talked real bad about our mom and acted like he had saved Brian. Well, what got to me was Brian posted that he didn't feel saved and all he could think about was who was going to take care of his mom and little sister. Me. He was going through such turmoil himself, and he was thinking about myself and our mom.

I know we went through such bad times when we were kids, but I have always felt the worst for him since he's 7 years older than me, so he saw more and remembers more. I just have to say I really love him. And as much as I think that it gets easier in time, there are always moments like these that bring it all back.

Wordful Wednesday

I'd like to go waaaay back in time please...like this far back...
This is me when I was a little (innocent)ha girl

And I'd like to go waaaaaay back, because on Friday my oldest is going to be 13
This is my oldest, Alyssa (left) with her friend Sadie (right) at this year's Valentine's Day Dance

I don't want her to grow up. Well you know...besides those days when we fights and I can't wait until she has her own place...hehe. But really, I don't want her to become a teen. I've been trying to bribe her and come to some sort of negotiation with her to have her not grow up...I haven't gotten anywhere with that. :(

I took this picture this past weekend on our way home from Flagstaff...the pic was taken in Sedona, AZ. The pic is of a HUGE Rooster with some chili peppers for a necklace. Well...my mind takes me to the gutter sometimes...ok, often...and I didn't think "rooster with hot peppers"...nope, I immediately told my husband that we ran into a huge hot c*@k.
