Random Tuesday Thoughts

Okie dokie, let's get down to bidness with some randomness why don't we?!

~ This past week I've been running around like a crazy person. I think I've tried to fit a years worth of busyness into a friggin' week or two! I'm.Not.Built.For.This!!! My grandma has more energy than me..seriously.

~ It's time to re-dye my hair again...but I got a new color and I'm afraid it will turn orange. Sadly I have had one episode of orange hair many years ago. I'm not into rockin' the orange hair thank you.

~ I bought a new camera today...spur of the moment...I may have to sell my husband on the street corner for a few days to pay it off..hehe.

~ Wanted: that thing that will make me feel reeeaally good and may possibly make me moan...it's a massage people, get yer minds outta the gutter!

Oh Deer!

Whew..what a long week it has been! I feel like I've been running 'round for days! Hmm, maybe because I have been!

It is hunting season round these parts. My husband Jason and his PAL (hehe) only spent two days hunting though. Levi got his deer on opening day, practically first thing in the morning, just before 9 a.m. They didn't get the deer back to our friend Shortmama and Levi's house until around 1 p.m., and we didn't get out of their place from getting everything bagged up until 9 p.m. So that made for a long day.

The very next day, Saturday, they were off again to try and get Jason's deer. When he left in the morning I told him "have a great day sitting on your ass doing nothing, please don't shoot anything today so we can rest". He.Didn't.Listen. Not only did he Not listen, he didn't shoot the deer until almost sundown, somewhere in the 5 p.m. hour. Sooooo...we had to wait for Grumpy Old Men to get home (that's how I think of these two, they are comical like that).

So they had to drag the deer over all of creation again to get it back to the Ranger. They got back to shortmama's place at 9 p.m. where we were happily waiting, cause ya know we like to spend two days back to back doing the same thing! Amanda and I were going to have ourselves some drinks to help get us through the night, but..we were too tired for that. After all was said and done...we were home and in bed just after 1 a.m.

Here are some pics that show our night on the 2nd night:

Jason tired..and tired of me taking pics!! He's tellin' me I'm #1!

Levi was dead tired!

It's Almost Time!

My husband and I are almost there...and I am sooo excited! Our 5 year Anniversary is on November 21st, and the other day we went and had these anniversary pictures taken.

We had a great time getting the pictures taken.

He is out hunting today, the first day of the hunt...so he looks a little more like this...

This was taken after a hunt last year..my son is kind of scowling at the deer in the back ground, it was his first time to see something like that.

I prefer the hot look up top personally...but, he loves to hunt, so this is a familiar look.

Dear Someone

Time for some good 'ole Dear Someone letters...a little late today as I've been beeeezy.

Dear In-Laws,

Had a wonderful visit today and it was good seeing you two. I know you guys will probably be reading this while you are down here...thanks so much for letting me know you like my writing! Had a good time at breakfast...was great watching everyone tackle my fresh fruit crepe after I got full! See you guys Saturday...oh yah, and thanks for letting me drive the more than awesome new mustang rental that you guys had.....it was so fun! I didn't even get a ticket in it...maybe it was just that they couldn't catch up with me!!!

Mustang Rose,
Daughter

Dear Husband,

Please love my pretty batting eyelashes enough to buy me a sweet new mustang!

Your beautiful, wonderful wife who loves you to pieces,
Optimistic Rose

Dear lottery,

I do need to win you for a few reasons. One of those reasons would be so we can have two computers in this house...my husband takes up too much computer time for his games when he is home and it is completely interrupting my blogging.

Woman who would like to have some more green so I can stop seeing red,
Computer hog's wifey

Dear maid,

Where have you gone? The dinner is not made, the house needs a cleaning. I did not fire you and would never think of doing such a thing. Please return....I need you.

Deliriously delusional woman who wants a maid,
Me

Head on over to Shortmama for some more Dear Someone letters!

Creative Writing & The State Fair

This week Shortmama wants to know:

WHAT IS THE ONE BODY PART YOU WANT TO REPLACE?

You make me itch
You make me scream
You make my kids whine out my name

You make me want to scratch my nose off
By the time I'm done I look like Ruldolph

You make me look like a person with ADD
Oh how I can't stop itching me

Can I please replace my immune systems over-reaction to allergens? It is a hereditary thing passed down to me, and I have in turn passed it down to my kids...and it really sucks. Itchy, sneezy, runny, stuffy, CRANKY. And all the allergy medicine in the world is not helpful..not even the last ditch effort of getting allergy shots.

Aside from the creative writing post, I wanted to post a little on the trip to the state fair yesterday. It was reallllly fun. It was in the 90's though, so it was a little hot. I went with my friend Amy and my two daughters Alyssa and Taylor. My oldest daughter Alyssa had a wonderful time the whole time. She just laughs and squeals on all the rides...which makes me crack up to where I can't seem to catch my breath, tears streaming down my face and all. Taylor on the other hand had to warm up to the rides. She was more fearful to begin with this year than last year, which was her first year at the fair. Oh how she was mad at me when we were standing in line for the roller coaster. But I didn't want her to give into her fear...I believe that if you give into your fear that you limit yourself in life. So onto the roller coaster we went. She didn't do too bad, but she didn't do too good either. But after it stopped and she realized she was still ok, then it got better from there and she was begging to go back on the roller coaster again after we had been on a few more rides. So we went again and she was fine. Fear conquered!

We got our traditional old fashioned photo taken, and here it is........

From left to right: Amy, Taylor, Alyssa and myself.

And of course we couldn't come home without our 4 big bags of cotton candy!

Random Tuesday Thoughts

randomtuesday

My randomness for this day...

~ I LOVE THIS DAY!!! It has finally made it!!! Today I take the kids to the AZ State Fair! Well, the girls at least...next year will be Jayce's first year to go...and he gets to go with just him and I. Come on noon time!

~ Ever have those days where you're just irritated and seemingly easily upset? That's me yesterday and this morning....hope the state fair shakes the funk.

~ Tomorrow my husband and I are going for our pre-5-year anniversary pictures. Our 5th anniversary is coming up later this month...we've been together for 7 years. I love this man!

~ Wow...credit card companies are somethin' else aren't they. I don't have credit card debt and never have. At this time we've got less than $200 on the 1 card that we do have. The news was saying yesterday that credit card companies are coming up with new ways to add fees now that some new laws are coming into play to help curb the rising interest rates, etc. One of the new things that some of the credit companies are doing is adding a $15 non-use fee. A FEE FOR THOSE WHO DON'T USE THEIR CARDS???! Are you freakin' kidding me! If I get a fee for not using my card...I will so drop them like a nasty bad habit.
