So this also left me wondering what in the heck I was gonna do since today was my first day of class. Luckily my hubby was able to stay home with him until I was done. Whew! So anyways, class went well today, I survived my first day in math class. I don't think there was any reason not too since 1 it was beginning math and 2 it was only about whole numbers and placement. Now I have some homework..and I'm actually excited about it. I like to learn though, even if it is a subject that terrifies the living crap outta me.
The classroom wasn't overcrowded, so that was good. And there was a good mix of people closer to my age (31) along with H.S. graduates. You have to watch it when entering and leaving the parking lot I have learned...those little fekkers zip in/out/around like it's nobody's business. Now I'm no slow poke by any means, but they're zipping around in there like it's the Indy 500. You start to back out when it's clear and these are the things you are thinking as you have to keep stopping cause someone is zipping by...oh nope, not yet; oh shit, crazy ass; holy fek, they're trying to kill me, get me outta here now!
Oh ya, and there was this girl in the classroom when I first arrived, she was sharpening her pencil. You know those old fashioned looking metal ones where you insert pencil and turn the knob. So she gets done sharpening her pencil, goes back to her desk and sits down, immediately gets back up with the same pencil and sharpens it some more, goes back to her desk and sits, and then gets up AGAIN to go sharpen the SAME DAMN PENCIL. WTF?
Can we say OCD?
ReplyDeleteSo glad your first class wasn't that scary- and for the parking lot - I learned to park near the exit - easier to escape the crazies!
So sorry the headaches came back - hopefully they are at least still subsiding.
Sorry about the migraine. That must be horrible for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your class went well.
Go and get her an electric one or one of those ones that our kids carry in their pencil cases.
ReplyDeleteCan you say OCD?? Fekkers. LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh and poor Jayce! I would flip if my baby had a migraine. Scary.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about Jayce, that stinks! Hope he's feeling all better by now. Fekkers is the funniest word I've seen in a long time, I love it! Have a great night!
