Random Tuesday Thoughts

~ Yesterday's post was about getting busted while driving. Well, seems like I forgot this one time...in band camp (JK)...when we had a run in. We, as in my hubby and I and Alyssa was with us. Yup, this is one of those "I told you so" moments that I still cherish. We had just left from watching some bull riding, and a little ways down the road my hubby decides he has to go pee really bad. Mm'kay, there's a few stores coming up in a few minutes, we'll hit one of those. Nope, he needs to go now he doesn't want to wait. So after a little arguing back and forth...me telling him he could get ticketed for it, him saying no way...I finally pull off a side dirt road. He gets out and is doing his disgusting thing.....and what happens next is absofreakinlutely comical...a cop pulls over a DIFFERENT vehicle and then end up parked right behind us. Jason by this time has a deer in the headlights look on his face, I'm cracking up hysterically in the truck and Alyssa is in the back seat pretty much horrified I'm sure. So after Jason finished he got back in the truck...and he looks at me like "you've got to be effin kidding". I at this point am still laughing but trying to muffle it since I see the officer walking up to my driver side window. But for the life of me I can't get my ear to ear smile to disappear. I roll down my window, the officer peeks his head in and takes a look at Jason and says "everything come out alright". Jason's red and embarrassed, I'm still grinning, Jason said "yes". The officer asks what we were doing *duh* and Jason explained how we just left from watching the bull riding and he really had to go. The officer then asks if we'd been drinking....insert my best serious are you crazy face here...and I tell the officer no. That part wasn't too funny. Jason had one beer while there and I didn't have anything. Nada. So anysober, we were sent on our way without a ticket. I think Jason learned his lesson........and I'm loving the way he learned it!

~ Something must be wrong with me...I'm enjoying my math homework. But this might change starting Wednesday when we begin fractions.

~ Have I mentioned that I don't like the cold..bring on the heat? Ya, well, maybe I should embrace the cool a little more or invest in some sweat suits and some warming socks, bras and underoos. After getting our heating bill for around $160. That's not normal...but I've been heating up the house more than normal.

~ Yesterday at the kitchen table Alyssa burped and then said "excuse me, but I feel better now". So then Jayce said "well I don't feel better, I didn't feel bad to begin with".
