~ I've already shared some funny college experiences since I've started this semester. I've got another interesting moment to share. During class yesterday there was a new student, another youngish fella. He comes in and talks to the teacher for a minute to get updated on where we are in the class and then he takes a seat behind me. He starts talking to the girl sitting next to him about the class and expectations. Then.......he says that he hasn't taken classes "in like 3 or 4 years, the last time I took them was when I was in jail". Yup, that's what he said. So I spent the class period thinking some crazy fekker was sitting behind me. I thought about turning around the moment he said that and pointing two fingers towards my eyes and then at him to let him know "I'm watchin' you, keep ya distance".
~ I know some people have made new years resolutions (not me) and some have chosen a word for the year (again, not me). But there is one thing that I would like to do. I'd like to live like I'm dying. I want to do more things, experience things and places I've never been to or done. I want to go out and live it up and enjoy life and all it has to offer. I've always been more of a homebody....I'll always enjoy the comforts of home, but I wanna get out and make some memories. Of course...I'll have to document the memories cause I can't remember poo.
~ I.am.so.excited! I won a book giveaway from Mag at Sitting on the Mood Swing at the Playground! It's the second giveaway that I've ever won...and they both happen to be from her! She's awesome. And the book sounds awesome. Here is the book...

And it's not just a book...it signed by the author, Kristen Chase! This will be the first signed book I've ever had. Well...In a way anyways....my daughter Alyssa was put in a book by a teacher of hers. The teacher and her husband authored and illustrated a book, and used Alyssa for one of their characters! So cool. Anyawesome, they signed the book for her...but I'm claiming it until she's older...like when I'm almost dead and gone older. Anyoffsubject, I can't wait to get the book and see what it's all about. Thanks again for the giveaway Mag!~ I was going to work out this morning...but a friend called and said that Denny's is having free breakfast until 2 p.m....gotta go get my free on.
I forgot about the denny's free breakfast.
ReplyDeleteHugs, andrea
I always wanted a book that was signed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI wanna get free Dennys! Dang it. I forgot. Oh well. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! I think Denny's beats working out any day! Love that live like your dying! Keep your eyes open for the jail bird....why would he even say anything...strange!
ReplyDeleteI'd rather get a free breakfast than work out any day. I think it stinks that the government will pay for junkies to go to school but not me. I get to work 40 hours a week and still pay for school.
ReplyDeleteI was so mad when I found out about Denny's breakfast - and that I'd missed it!
ReplyDeleteSo the freak behind you in class will now be cheating off your papers.
And great resolutioN!
Jason will be all kinds of excited to see you reading that book
ReplyDeleteI just started my photography class last weekend at the local community college, and I can't believe some of the people in there. Gotta say, yours beats 'em all hands down.
ReplyDeleteI didn't do resolutions either. I was already on a quest to lose the rest of my pregnancy weight, so that doesn't count. I am so so so so close. I actually wore pants on Friday that I hadn't pulled over my butt in over 3 years! That's what happens when you have 2 babies in 2 years I guess.
Live like there's no tomorrow - love it!!! I always tell myself that when I eat the extra piece of chocolate cake. There's no fat people in heaven :) Hope Denny's was good.
ReplyDeleteI will follow anyone who says 'crazy fekker'. bahaha
ReplyDeleteI love Mag...what a great book to win. :)
I've read reviews on that book. It sounds really good. You'll have to let me know if there are any juicy tips in there!
ReplyDeleteHmm, interesting book ;) Congrats.
ReplyDeleteWhat a book to have as your first autographed copy!!! I think mine was a Baby Sitter's Club book from wayyyyy back when...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit today!

Let us know how you like the book. I've seen it around the sphere and read her blog from time to time.
