So I did it. I spent the wonderful, fabulous FREE gift cards worth $150 on...protective sealant for our wood fence. Ugh. I'm glad that we didn't have to pay for it since it was ridiculously expensive, it was $138 before taxes. So by the time they (stole from me) added taxes, I only had just over $4 to spend. So what did I do? I went right down the way to Kohl's. I bought two shirts worth $3.60 each, so I pretty much got one for free, and I bought a pair of Skecher's shoes for my son as a Christmas present, they were on sale for 80% off, which brought them to a whole $8.99. Great price for Skechers. They were having some good sales.
Still dreaming about that massage...
And I followed through with setting up my tattoo appointment. It is for next week. And I can't wait. And since I am so excited about it, I am going to give a preview as to what it will be...there will be some changes to it, so it's not going to look just like what's pictured...such as the antennae's won't be on her head and the wings will be different. And there won't be any of the shading around her. Amongst a few other differences..but I don't want to give it all away.

And here is one that I already have. It was my vey first tattoo. I was either 18 or 19 when I got this one. I also have one on my ankle that I got when I was 21, but that was a spur of the moment tattoo, and I don't like it, so I'm not going to show it. I wouldn't suggest spur of the moment tattoo's. The one on my lower back, I kept that design with me for forever before I finally went and got it. I really wanted to be sure. I don't know what the heck I was thinking when I got the one on my ankle, I was out with my friend Charlene and we both decided to get one spur of the moment, and now all these years later I wish it wasn't there. It has a heart with some vines and it says "bad". I'm not going to elaborate on that.

Sensibility is such a pain. At least the fence is done though.
ReplyDeleteNice tattoo. I can't wait to see the new one all completed
Yeah, next free gift card goes to a spa day! It's no fun being practical, huh? I'm waaay too much of a chicken to get a tattoo but I do like them.
ReplyDeleteYep, I like looking at other peoples tats, but I'm too chicken too. Not of the pain, of getting one and changing my mind later. I'm WAY too easily flipped on things.
ReplyDeleteSo excited I get to be one of the first ones to see the new tat since you have to come pick up your kiddos! Cant wait to get my next 1 next year...hell maybe I can get 2 next year!

I love your lower back piece--just beautiful!! And the new one is stunning! I'm a HUGE tattoo fan. I have one of my left shoulder blade, lower back, and then a big one that takes up the entire center of my back. (Now THAT hurt like a bitch, LOL! Right on the spine!!). I'm getting a new one next month and can't wait!
ReplyDeleteHi honey.... pretty but you didn't mention where you are getting it? Is it going to be big or small?
